The "Sketch for Change - Art for Obama" Group Art Show is on!

We will be showing the original Sketch for Change series (Gary Baseman, Tim Biskup, Jeff Soto, Shag, Amanda Visell, etc.), including art sent in from folks around the world inspired by Barack Obama's Campaign for Change.

Original work will be for sale to benefit Obama's final push on Nov. 4th, and make sure every vote gets counted.

"I heard on NPR during my commute home about how skinheads were planning on taking out Obama. It wasn't unexpected but did help me realize that as Obama represents promise for some, still others view him as a significant threat and even a means to galvanize peoples racist beliefs that white people are losing control of power. I had to ask why that was such a bad thing. As America is the land of opportunity, shouldn't everyone have equal right to help lead us?"

With 24 hours to go, the Sketch for Change eBay Auction is really heating up. Over $4,000 have been bid so far!

Meanwhile, we just received the first submissions in the mail, and more amazing Obama inspired art continues to arrive. We had no idea so much amazing art would be submitted. Please keep submissions coming all the way to election day. And mail in the originals for the group art show by Oct. 30th.

Check out the original art up for auction. This is a really special auction, for most of these artists, this is the first politically related piece they have ever done, and is sure to be a collectors item.

Plus, all of the funds will benefit the Obama Campaign for Change in the final push to the November 4th election.
